Tom Mayberry, Promoter and owner of the PASS South Super Late Model Series and President of PASS Racing, Inc, announced today that the Easter Bunny is back.
On Saturday April, 7, 2007, the PASS South Super Late Model Series will return to Hickory Motor Speedway, Hickory, NC where it kicked off the inaugural season of the PASS South Super Late Model Series last year with the Easter Bunny 150.
Easter Bunny 150 II will bring the best of the North and South together again for 150 green-flag laps of super later model action. Some of the biggest names in the PASS North Super Late Model Series will be making the trip south prior to the start of the North season on April 21st at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME. 2006 Champion Mike Rowe in the new P. T. Watts #2 will be back to defend his title, and we expect Ben Rowe, Mason-Dixon Meltdown winner Cassius Clark, 2006 PASS North Champion Johnny Clark, 2006 PASS Outlaw Late Model Series Champion Derek Ramstrom who is moving up to the super late models for 2007, Corey Williams, and several others to make the trip.
The South will be well represented again at Easter Bunny II. The 2006 points runner-up Ryan Lawler should be back along with Dean Clattenburg, Ted Musgrave, Jr, Preston Peltier, Chris Dunn, Wade Day, Clay Jones, Travis Kittleson, Dennis Schoenfeld, and a host of others who liked what they saw of PASS racing in 2006. Over 30 teams were at the inaugural Easter Bunny 150 and we expect even more for # II.
On September 29, 2007, PASS South will be back at Hickory for 150 more green-flag laps of action.
